Hair Goals 2021

Everyone is thinking about their 2021 goals right now! Many people's main goal is to get healthier, so, why not aim to make your hair healthier as well!

One trend that rarely gets old throughout the years is long, healthy, blonde hair. It's not easy to achieve all of these goals at once, so it may be best to choose one or two out of the three. Blonde hair is most difficult to grow long and healthy due to over processing. The longer the hair gets, the older and more damaged it becomes. I personally think the best and ultimate goal is healthy hair! Once you are there, you can think about changing your color, or growing it longer.

How do you make your hair healthy? First stop in to see your hairstylist and get all of your dead ends off and get a nice deep conditioning treatment. For incredibly damaged hair, I love the Olaplex treatment number 1 in a clear shine gloss and the Olaplex number 2 to help seal and repair the bonds.

Get an awesome sulfate free shampoo and conditioner like Surface Trinity protein shampoo, conditioner, and leave in conditioner. The protein will help to rebuild the hair and the added moisture will help to soften and untangle. Also, add a Daviness deep conditioning treatment like the Quick Fix Circle to your regime once a week for 15 minutes in the shower.

Almost more important than all the topical treatments for your hair is getting the right minerals and nutrients. Eat a well balanced diet, exercise, and take your vitamins. Vitamins such as biotin, folic acid, and vit D all help with hair growth. (Just be careful with the dosage of vit D since it's not water soluble). A prenatal vitamin, or a hair, skin, and nail vitamin can be incredibly beneficial but be sure to check with your doctor before trying something new!

Healthy hair is always on trend but make it your goal for 2021! What are your hair goals for this year?
